Excellent place to eat. Very clean. Beautiful. The food was perfect. Very friendly atmosphere. Love it.
Nice place, food was not bad. Service and simple items like certain steak sauces seemed to be slim to find. Wish I could do 3.5 stars.
Crew was very helpful and attentive during a busy lunch hour. Soup of the day was gumbo and was very good with many shrimp as well as chicken breast and fish fillet. The vegetables were fresh and not overcooked. The cornbread was , surprisingly pancake like and sweet. It reminded me of what was once referred to as "johnny cake" growing up. Good in its own way but not what you'd expect. The restaurant was clean and tables were cleared and wiped down quickly. A very good experience, overall.
This was an AMAZING find! We came here with a friend and it instantly became our favorite place to take friends and family that come to visit. It is clean, professional, and the employees were unfailingly attentive! And the food! Well prepared, well presented, and almost too much to finish! Go hungry
I like most things about Mt. Pleasant Grille, its only issue is consistency. I know there have been different managers & new menus, but there is still a real inconsistency with the food & service. I have never had an awful experience here, but I have had to wait a really long time for the food to arrive. I've never had an apology or offer to make things right. Some servers have gone above & beyond, some have been mediocre. Sometimes the food has been poor, like a stale roll or dry pork. Other times it is fantastic. Desserts have ranged from dry cake to flavorful and delicious. The ice cream has been consistent & it is divine. Tastes homemade, creamy and flavorful. I do thing that at around $4 for fruit tea, its overpriced. I think there should be some cheaper options for lunch especially. The blue plate does not offer a veggie only option & the chicken & waffles have no side, does not seem to merit a higher price than the meat & 2 veggies. I never know whether to recommend to my friends or not! If its just ice cream or lunch I usually do, but dinner is where I really hesitate.
